In one of London's most important business districts, four QUANTUM chillers delivered by ENGIE Refrigeration ensure a precise cooling supply. The project proves the flexibility of our building services solutions and strengthens our position in the British refrigeration market.
For the building services project, ENGIE Refrigeration is supplying four QUANTUM Air chillers for a London customer, which offer two key advantages: outstanding energy efficiency and compact dimensions with minimal space requirements. Our team of experts tailored the chillers precisely to the customer's specific demands right from the start. A special technical feature is the integrated Active Harmonic Filters (AHF), which is delivered together with the chillers. This technology ensures optimum net quality and reduces electrical interference. The integration of an Active Harmonic Filter therefore offers decisive advantages for sensitive applications in modern building technology.
The project is particularly relevant for life science applications and for research and development buildings with high requirements in terms of energy efficiency, operational safety and space requirements. Power quality also plays an important role, which can be improved through the use of active harmonic filters or other technologies. The cooling solution implemented demonstrates how ENGIE Refrigeration implements sustainable solutions for building technology in complex urban environments with limited space. Furthermore, the project demonstrates ENGIE Refrigeration's strategic expansion in the United Kingdom: in addition to data centers, we are increasingly tapping into building services and positioning ourselves as a reliable partner for energy-efficient cooling and heating solutions.
