This is because it is the world's first and production-ready water-cooled chiller with oil-free high-lift turbo-compressors in the performance class from 170 to 1,100 kilowatts nominal cooling capacity and at chilled medium outlet temperatures down to -10 degrees Celsius. Consumers increasingly demand fresh, healthy and sustainable foods. And this trend is unlikely to disappear in the near future. The AMONUM with the natural refrigerant ammonia is a good way to make refrigeration as eco-friendly as possible even during the production process. Ammonia does not damage the ozone layer or contribute to global warming. The AMONUM can thus be used to improve customers’ trust, as the eco-friendly production process can be communicated to them.
Thanks to its smart design, the chiller is of course absolutely safe and provides up to -21 degrees Celsius for brine applications, and up to +16 for process cooling and climate control. The icing on the cake: the electrical cabinet is completely integrated in the housing. This saves valuable space, which is especially important for complex production processes.
