Customised rental cooling: QUANTUM air chillers offer flexible, low-refrigerant-charge performance for major radio and television broadcaster

Customisable and adaptable to a range of application requirements: rental chillers can be used to provide temporary cooling capacity in a wide range of applications. In the studios of a public broadcaster in Germany, ENGIE Refrigeration proves how precisely rental refrigeration can be integrated into existing environments, even under demanding conditions. Hans-Werner Barkhofen, Head of Service Germany West at ENGIE Refrigeration, talks in an interview about the challenges and opportunities of rentable refrigeration solutions.

Energy efficienct: QUANTUM Air with free cooling

The QUANTUM Air from ENGIE Refrigeration is available with an integrated free cooling register. The chiller enables operation with free cooling and can contribute to efficient operation across a wide range of outdoor temperatures.

QUANTUM Air 4.0 chillers: a new definition of energy efficiency

Energy efficiency is an important consideration in the refrigeration and air-conditioning industry. The QUANTUM Air 4.0 chiller series provides energy performance values that exceed the EU Ecodesign Tier 2 reference value under Regulation (EU) 2016/2281. For example, the QUANTUM A1250 shows an annual energy consumption value up to 410,000 kWh below this reference value. Based on the underlying calculation assumptions, this corresponds to approximately 200 tonnes of CO₂ per year.

Quiet as a whisper: water-cooled chillers at the Elbphilharmonie

The Elbphilharmonie has been breaking every visitor record since it opened in January 2017. More than eight million people have visited the Hamburg concert hall so far and two water-cooled QUANTUM chillers run in the background, quiet as a whisper.
