Chilled water set

Chilled water sets generate cold by transporting heat energy from the place to be cooled to another place in the surrounding area. The refrigeration system releases this heat as waste heat. Refrigeration is based on a thermodynamic cycle. Chilled water systems

A chilled water system, often referred to as a chilled water set, is a technical device that extracts heat from rooms and buildings and then cools those rooms and buildings by means of a cooling water circuit. The GENIUM refrigeration container and the GENIUM refrigeration modules are part of the chilled water system range at ENGIE Refrigeration. The fully equipped GENIUM refrigeration containers can take the place of machine rooms and all the safety devices required for application, while GENIUM refrigeration modules are compact modular units suitable for indoor installation.

Chiller

Cooling networks

Cooling networks are an environmentally friendly refrigeration supply method in which thermal energy reaches consumers via a pipe system. Local refrigeration systems cover regional energy demands. The QUANTUM Power chiller from ENGIE Refrigeration is especially suitable for use in district cooling networks. The powerful model with a refrigeration capacity of up to 8,500 kilowatts has an oil-free compressor design and high levels of energy efficiency.
